Our Story
We met in a club.
If you're thinking of a nightclub, you would be very very wrong - but we don't think anyone can imagine either of us there 😉
We were both part of a university club called "Overseas Christian Fellowship" (OCF). Though we were both in different campuses, these groups will join together in April each year for an annual Easter Camp. In 2015, we met when we were both in the same team for Easter Camp (Team 007 - Jesus Bond!).
We chatted on and off during the next two years, mostly due to M's very very poor response rate (M: to be fair the messages were long and I always procrastinated because of the typing involved - I'm much better now, I promise!).
At the start of 2017, we started to use SnapChat as the chat platform. This made M's speed in responding improve drastically as she didn't realised you could save the chats in snapchat back then. Hence, every time D messaged M replied straightaway after reading as the message disappears almost immediately. The constant (and long) chats shared got us closer and hang out (fun times!) - Thank God for SnapChat 😛
On Labour Day (March 2017) in our trip to Redwood Forest, D officially asked M out to which she happily said YES. Fast forward 5+ years and there was another joyful YES when D proposed to M.
Now all that's left is the "I do" 🙂
