Our Story

Our story began in a place called Anthem, an indoor cycling studio nestled away on Phillip Street. It was October 2019, a month that would mark the start of something truly special for us. Fate intervened during Dian's first-ever spin class that she taught, a class she was not originally scheduled for, further affirming our belief in destiny. Little did we know this chance encounter would change both of our lives forever.
Kevin was instantly drawn to Dian's radiant smile and captivating eyes. Dian was drawn to Kevin's... well, let's just say, his "resting bitch face" intrigued her.
Despite our different backgrounds – Kevin being half German, quarter Japanese, quarter Filipino, and Dian half Indonesian, half British – our disparities only served to strengthen our bond. We found common ground in our values and interests, especially our shared love for Asian cuisine and culture; this is when a deep connection was formed.
When the pandemic struck and separated us for a year, we grew closer despite the physical distance between us. Thousands of miles apart, with continents separating us, we still found a way to connect on a deeper emotional level. Through the challenges, we emerged stronger and more resilient than ever before.
Finally, Kevin took the leap and moved to Singapore. Together, we faced new challenges, navigating Covid lockdowns and uncertainties in life. Amidst it all, we fell in love, flourished, and discovered a partnership that not only endured but thrived.
Just under five years later, we stand just a few months away from venturing to Dian's hometown, where we are preparing to embark on the most exciting chapter of our journey together - marriage! We eagerly anticipate celebrating this momentous occasion with all of you and sharing the love and joy that has brought us to this point.
